Wow it's almost 2007. I can't believe it. I'm kind of sad to see this year end. I had an amazing year!!! 2007 will be pretty exciting too though. I will be moving out...buying a new car...getting a new job. I can't wait!!
I am so excited to be finishing school. I HATE IT. ugh. It is such a waste of time...at this point just give me my freaking degree. I am sick of exams and presentations and group work. I don't think I will go back for my masters degree because I honestly can't handle anymore schooling at this point in my life. I just want to get out there and live it up while I can.
I hope everyone had good christmas's! Mine was awsome!! I got a new laptop! My other one was trash and I was scared to turn it off because it might not turn back on lol. My family was here on Christmas Day and then the neighbors from across the way stopped by for dessert. hmmmm I got loads of other goodies too but it was a pretty fun day.
hmmm...nothing else exciting happening my way...i'm gonna start applying for jobs at the end of january into february...I think i'm going to go to florida with mom to visit my grandparents and grammy, david, and misa and then it's off to the real world!! SCARY!
Oh yeah and susannah I will be seeing you before you leave!!! I'm just not sure when! I am supposidly booked until after the new year! But we definatley need to get together so we can play halo and I can have sweet tea! Ok well that's all i've got to say for now. Peace out kids!
So yesterday was my last first day of classes ever. I am taking my final 3 classes of my formal education right now. They are: Hospitality Senior Seminar, Microeconomics, and Front office Operations. Hopefully this winter there won't be too many blizzards because now we're down to two absences per class. Today I had my micro class and senior sem. I went from 11:30-3:30 so I didn't get home until 5. That's ok though at least I can sleep in!!!
These past few months i've been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. So far i've figured that I definatley want to go back and get my masters. In what i'm not sure. Possibly financial management or organizational leadership because accounting comes easy to me and I think I would make an excellent leader. I'd have to get a job at a corporate hotel agency because I would need the tuition reimbursement but I really hate corporate cultures. I think I might give marriott or disney a shot. I think what I need to focus on is what I want to do with myself rather than what my family wants. Only I can make myself self-actualized.
Now we're getting into winter and the sun sets at like 4. So I love it how I walk out of class and it's already dark. wtf. My car is now doing this thing where in the morning when I turn it on it likes to shudder and then start. So I look like an idiot because I have to do a lap around the block because I don't want it to crap out on me while i'm on the bridge lol. Speaking of the bridge, they blew up the old part of it and because I live so close, it felt like an earthquake going through the house hahaha.
Well thats it for now. I'll try to update more regularly. I mean I have the time...sometimes I just forget about livejournal. I have become a myspace whore. Until another update later!!
hey all! I thought I would do a fun and exciting survey!! So nothing too exciting has gone on in my life...just been living day to day! So the other day I was driving about in Warwick and I got pulled over for going 60 in a 35. Thankfully Karisa was with me and she got me out of it lol. So no ticket for me! After that we went on a trip to the new supercenter. It's nice but a big overwhelming. So many things for Justin to buy!!! muahahahahah. I'm not going to school tomorrow because I have a presentation to give and well I haven't even started yet! Typical me! So i'm taking the day off tomorrow. I deserve one anyways. Ok people! Hey everyone! So today is my last half day with internet access boooo. Today i'm heading off to my internship hotel Alexander The Great and i'll be working there until friday I think. Then its back here to thessaloniki and then we're flying back to Athens on Saturday and then back home on sunday.
I am looking forward to being home and returning to my peaceful life where no one bothers me and I can do whatever I want. Last night we went to some Rasta bar around the corner from our hotel and it sucked so I left there and came back to my room. I can't wait to get rid of this roomate! He is so wierd. It will be awsome to just be on my own again! I am also excited because I get to see some awsome people too! haha.
So now I will leave you with some tentative travel plans for this year!

Finally I made my way to Greece! I love it here. I will be mad when I have to go home. The city that I am in is the northern part of Greece. This city has everything!! It also is a city I can manage. Another thing I love about this place is the weather! It is sunny during the morning for the most part but then around 3 the thunderstorms roll in. Kind of like florida. This is perfect because 3pm is siesta time :0) Today I am leaving for Agonissi which is a beach resort on its own private island! I can't wait! I found out where I am going to be placed for my internship and it is at Alexander the Great resort. So i'm happy I liked how it was set up when I went there 2 weeekends ago and there is a small village nearby to go explore. Well Greece is awsome and I would love to live here when I graduate college. Ok well thats it for now.I'm off to go shower and pack for this weekend!! Bye Kiddies!
Well first off let me start off with saying that it is my last day in the States until July 30th :0) I will be flying off to Greece tomorrow from JFK. So this will be my day tomorrow.
8am---Leave Jamestown for Bonanza 9am---Leave for Port Authority in Manhattan 12:45-Arrive in Manhattan 1:20--Depart Port Authority (hopefully) on JFK airport bus 3:00--Arrive at JFK....
Ugh this is going to be a nightmare. AT least I have a good 40 minutes at the Port Authority to find a ticket counter and get to my next bus. I just hate traveling alone. I'm going to be soo bored. Perhaps I will bring one of my harry potter books with me so my iPod doesn't die on the bus to NYC.
So my flight leaves JFK at 5:10 and gets into Athens at 10:10am. I will be so happy to land and see my friend Megan who is already there!! :) This trip is going to be amazing. One month in zero humidity 90 degree heat. I can't wait. The highlight for me will be touring the monestaries that are up on these cool rock looking things.
Ok well i'm off to finish packing...hopefully I haven't forgotten anything.. wish me luck tomorrow!! Some of you might be getting a phone call! *cough* suzy *cough* because she didn't give me a ride :P So for bye for a month!
Wow so what a crazy day at work it was... They put in a new salad bar and rotiserie chicken thing at McQuades...and they have this wierdo guy who works the whole thing. He whistles alot and says wierd things like today he comes out with "the bathroom is psychadelic" I dont even know how to spell that word. Oh yeah and he whistles all the damned time which is annoying but he makes Bangin bruschetta and gave me some today so I like him HAHA. Today there were too many people working there or something because it was frustrating me that I couldn't find anything! They moved it all around! The idiots! So hopefully tomorrow will be a better day at the dump.
Hmmm nothing new to report. Oh yeah my new mission in life is to become a Storm Chaser and to chase tornados like they do in Twister. That would be AWSOME. I don't know how I will do it but i'm sure I will find away. I should have gone to college for meterology DARN IT ALL! So I told my mother about me going back to school and she said I could do whatever I want but I have to pay for it... I knew that was coming! So I think I am going to do meterology at some point in my life.
The otherday I went to Desiree's house and we rearranged Skillets room to help her "chi" or whatever it is lmao. I have the wierdest friends but I love them. So this was a freaking project. I of course didnt help much and only moved huge things like the futon and the TV around. And slept in the middle of the bed the whole time haha typical Justin move! Skillet said that apartment prices at Villa del Rio by the mall have gone up and I dont think I will be able to afford it there when I graduate collge :( I guess i'll have to find somewhere else to live!!
Oh yeah so I am driving to work today and it is monsoon season of course and a big puddle of rain water spills onto me from the ceiling! I think it came from the sunglasses holder there must be a leak in there somehow. Hopefully it wont go into my transmission again! EEK.

I have been working everyday and earning that $$$ for Greece!!! Oh yeah my car insurance is due this month too. That is going to be a bitch. Plus it went up due to the fact that I have a new car. Ahhhhh
Oh yeah. So I have figured out what I want to do with myself when I graduate. I am either going to do a disney management training program or go back to school. I want to study meterology because everyone knows secretly I love weather and am a big weather nerd. But it looks like RIC or URI don't offer meterology....and I can't afford to go anywhere else but a state school. So my next favorite thing to study would have to be Anthropology. I think antrhopology is such a cool subject! I wish they had it at JWU I would so take an extra class. So the question is how do I bring this up to my parents!? Like haha you spent $20,000 the past 4 years for a diploma and now I want to change? I know I will have to pay for this degree myself but it will be frustrating. I guess before I make a huge commitment I will have to buy some books on Anthropology...
Anyways! This weekend was memorial day weekend and all the freaking tourists have entered Jamestown. I almost got into a fight with some tool on a motorcycle because he didn't know how to stop at a stop sign when it was clearly my turn to go. Good lord these people from out of state drive like idiots!
Tomorrow and Wednesday I have off and i'm not sure what i'm going to do yet. Wednesday I have plans with Dez and I think we're going to go to the beach and just relax. Tomorrow I was going to go visit Suzy at Burlingame but she is beeing a toolbox and says she won't be in her office tomorrow!! Maybe i'll go up to Providence to visit my friends who just moved into a new apartment. Well thats about all of the latest news I have for you all!
Wow so I am back home. I must admit I am happy to be home...but only for a little while though. The first few days that I was home I did feel indifferent like I didn't know what to do with myself. By now after seeing all of my friends and being back at work I have re adjusted. I miss everyone from Switzerland though well at least the people who I got really close with.
This week was a pretty good week though. I got to sleep in every day which is always nice and roam around and do whatever I want. I LOVE BEING ABLE TO DRIVE AGAIN!
I got to see all of my people this week AND got to do my projects so it was good. I have 5 projects due for Greece on Tuesday and i've done 4 of them. I am too ADD right now to do the last one. Yesterday I got my first parking ticket in Providence. so there goes $15. THANK YOU PROVIDENCE POLICE!! Don't you have anything better to do than give people parking tickets!!! I guess not eh?
So today was my first day back at work. It was nice to be back and to feel productive and I can't wait for Friday for my paycheck!!! I took pattie shopping after work for our usual weekly shopping trip. Went to barnes and noble which is my favorite store ever!! I need to get into reading more books. I was reading about Aquarians and all the bad things that we do. For example..did you know that Aquarians and Scorpios are most likely to end up in psych wards??? And that Aquarians are the most annoying sign!? Well my fellow Aquarians I don't think we're that crazy!! But I guess other people do! Ok wow so i'm tired off to take a shower and go to bed!
